Greetings to all of the wonderful warped friends and customers.....
I would like to let you all know how precious and appreciated you are to all of us at Warped HQ. I feel like I should apologize for not being as responsive to customers as we may have been in the past. Customer service is something this company prides itself on, and that has been the case since day one. Unfortunately however due to my own health problems we have not been able to attend to your needs as immediately and efficiently as we would have liked.
I was diagnosed with liver disease a year and half ago, and had to make some major changes in my life. If it was not for my son Alex coming back to work for Warped and taking over my responsibilities we may not have been able to continue. My physicians advised me to stop working all together in August of 2010. During this time I know Alex has done his best to meet your needs as our valued customers.
Recently, through the heroics of my son, and his sacrifice to risk his own health do I now see a light at the end of tunnel. Alex took it upon himself to become a living donor for me . This may once again give us more problems taking care of Warped faithful. On January 31st we go into surgery for my transplant and then we both have some recovery period. My surgeons have told me that Alex could be off his feet for up to a month and I will be in recovery for up to 3 months, maybe more.
I am asking you for your support through this trying time for my family and ask for your patience with Aaron who will be in charge of Warped until Alex can return. Quality products, great pricing and customer service have always been important to us at Warped Sportz and that will never change.
I also ask one small favor of you in that if you believe in a higher power please say a little prayer for us on Jan 31st or send some mojo our way........
We have great new exciting products for 2012 for the sport we all love so much. I look forward to talking with you on the phone, through e-mail or maybe even in person at a paintball tournament soon. Thank you all and God bless you.
Ed Poorman, president of Warped Sportz Inc.
